We have all heard the phrase “ Absolute power, corrupts absolutely”. The  situation in Washington D.C. over the last three plus years has provided a stage for just such a circumstance.

The attacks on the middle class in Wisconsin during the period of one party domination was devastating to Wisconsin workers; public sector and private sector alike.

No one enjoys being hounded to vote for certain individuals; regardless of party affiliation. Total agreement with any party platform would seemingly be rare. There are positives and negatives to every party’s political views.

The recent threats to Social Security and Medicare should be a concern to all Americans. As well as the failing state of hundreds of multi-employer pensions throughout the nation. Should any one of these come to reality, the effect on American workers would be catastrophic; with the hard working middle-class shouldering the brunt of the financial burden.

There has not been a more important time to voice your support for workers and organized labor than this upcoming election. We need a voice in government, for the benefit of all.

Everyone needs to register and VOTE as they see fit. However, please, take the time, give careful thought and VOTE!!
